Gestures

"Gestures" (Žesti) is the third poetry collection of Artis Ostups.

Kārlis Vērdiņš: The author surveys gestures with the help of unusually powerful and concentrated texts, combining poetry with prose. Human communication, relationships, details of everyday life and history serve as an abundant arsenal of behavioural patterns, from which Ostups selects the most significant ones in order to turn them into gestures and make the reader to experience and feel them.
