On February 25, the laureates for 7 categories were announced in the ceremony of the Latvian Television and Latvian Radio's award "2015 Kilogram of Culture". The award in category "Literature" was received by Latvian author Nora Ikstena for her novel "Mātes piens" (Mother's Milk), published by Dienas Grāmata within the book series "Mēs. Latvija, XX gadsimts" (We. Latvia, 20th Century).

The grant program is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Latvia.
